新款GEL-KAYANO 22，相比前辈有了许多大胆的创新。在性能和设计方面都有提升。鞋面采用了新的无缝隙FluidFit鞋面设计，在设计和材料上都做了很大的调整，一改 Kayano 21多块拼接缝合的技术，前部和两侧都使用了热贴合材料。除了后半部分，几乎看不到缝合线了。整个鞋面浑然一体，在保证鞋面支撑的同时提高了其舒适性。因此去掉了Kayano 21的内衬，改为更加透气的白菜哦双层织物面料。支撑系统也大为简化，去掉了大量的TPU和合成革材料，改用合成革热贴合技术外加内部三处支撑来完成对鞋 面的支撑。舒适性有所提高。
