PROS:
- Corsair is probably the best ram I’ve every used, and I’ve gone through a lot of computers at our 3d graphic studio. Never had a problem with this brand.
- These work quite well. We use them with an X99 motherboard. I also like the design of the heat spreader, though really I feel it’s just “bling” for the memory more than a functional feature. We like that it’s black, so it matches the rest of the computer.
- Great RAM kit with easy xmp overclocking.. running well with my i7 6700k, asus maximus viii ranger, gigabyte 980 ti xtreme.. no issues encountered so far after a month.
CONS:
- Purchase description was 2666mhz. Installed into my PC and displayed as 2133mhz.
- Many people that buy ram complain that they don’t get the advertised speeds in this case the speeds are 2666mhz, the default is usually 2133mhz, around that area. To get the advertised speeds you need to go into the Bios and overclock it to 2666.
