PROS:
- When is comes to RAM there is still only negligible performance differences between higher frequency modules and lower frequency ones.Aside from the performance aspect, this corsair kit and RAM modules are definitely worth the money. The modules themselves are of a high quality. The finish is a very attractive gold tipped shroud and black body. Blends in very well with my Asus Sabertooth motherboard which is also based around a slight gold and black theme.
- Crazy fast ram, overclocks perfectly, running with ASUS Z97-WS + i7 4790K, Nvidia 770 GTX, 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 2400mhz ram, Corsair RM1000 Power Supply, intel 240GB SSD and an 8tb Raid 6. I can compile a full resolution 1080p/24 film w/ DTS in just less than an hour. It took about 3 hours on my last core i7. I am pretty impressed.
- I purchased this memory for a gaming computer. This memory is very fast and is perfect for this system as it can be greatly over-clocked and the memory handles the load just fine. I did add a Corsair Vengeance memory cooling fan as well.
CONS:
- The XMP profile causes crashes and blue screens plus in xmp the programs don’t start correctly only crashes programs.
- 6 month later one of the memories isn’t working anymore.
- Arrived with 1 faulty stick of ram, probable cause of my motherboard failing.
