The Mionix AVIOR 8200 Mouse is a sleek rubberized 9 Button ambidextrous mouse. It is a well built product that’s comfy to hold, has a soft rubber grip, it’s ambidextrous, 8200 DPI sensor, 128kb built-in memory, customizable LED lighting system, 9 programmable buttons and much more. Together with the software this provides access to customize the buttons, sensor, LED colors, advanced macros and profiles. While gaming you will feel the smooth, responsive and accurate quality of the AVIOR 8200.
The Mionix Avior 8200 is a great choice for PC gamers – either right-handed or left-handed – that are looking for a simple gaming mouse without all the bells and whistles. It’s comfortable and has good response time and action on mouse clicks. Considering, though, that there aren’t a ton of extra features and customization. Ambidextrous mice with 8200 DPI sensors are more commonplace now, but the Avior 8200 holds its own quite well and is a really good option.

- Mionix is currently my favourite gaming peripherals manufacturer. For the past 4 years I was using the Razer Lachesis and was unable to find a similar mouse with an ambidextrous design. Came across the Mionix 8200 and instantly loved it because of the ambidextrous design and the slightly wide base. Love the logo as well. The packaging looks quite elegant.RGB lighting… YES! I was quite surprised to see RBG lighting included for the price. At such a price point… this feature was awesome! The wheel as well as the logo contain RGB lights.
- I recently needed a new mouse and bought a Razer DeathAdder Chroma. That turned out to be a huge mistake, as Razor has gotten into the spyware business and you can’t even use their software/driver without giving them your email address, IP address, a list of all software installed on your computer, and more.Instead I bought a MIONIX AVIOR 8200.I’m keeping the Mionix Avior 8200 to use on another computer. It’s an awesome mouse. The overall shape of the Avior 8200 is low-profile. It probably won’t be coming into contact with the palm of your hand, unlike some other mice with a taller/higher arch. The feel is very rounded and gentle. Very nice.
- I’ve owned a lot of gaming mice. The Mionix AVIOR 8200 completely trumps all of them, sure some of it comes down to preference in that I’m not a palm gripper, it probably wouldn’t work to well for that style. But the customization, crisp clicks, nice weight and in my opinion the best grip i’ve tried for my own preference.I’ve had absolutely no problem with the functionality of the mouse. This is my first review of any product. I’ve had it for 6.5 months now and plays games at a competitive level. I absolutely recommend this mouse, especially if you’re not a pure palm grip.
- Scroll wheel broke after a few months. Wheel became wobbly and middle clicks stop registering. The side buttons stick out quite a bit. They are very easy to accidentally press.
- Originally, this seemed like a fantastic mouse. Coming from a Razer Lachesis, it had all the comfort and button placing I need. However, The sensor began to fail and stutter after only 4 months!
- If you don’t have the latest driver downloaded. Where if you spam the dpi switch a lot, it will make the mouse freeze and you will have to replug it in your PC. This happened maybe a total of 3 times in the 3-4 months I didn’t have it downloaded.(I was too lazy.) But once I downloaded it, it never happened again.
