Customer Reviews
PROS:
- Bought it for our 9 year old for his birthday. He spent most of the day building it and now loves driving his cars across the bridge!
- This is a fun puzzle and very challenging for children, they still enjoy the challenge! Fun for all ages! I have an 8 year old, a 6year old, a two 4 year olds and two 2 year olds and they all love it!
- Our family loves all of the Ravensburger 3D puzzles we have tried, and this one is no exception. Like the Ravensburger Big Ben or Empire State Building, this is 216 pieces and presents a decent challenge if you don’t read the numbers on the back of the pieces. Alternately, if you do read the numbers and work in order, it’s more like building a model – detail oriented and fun, but not too frustrating. The bridge looks great – the towers are very detailed and the drawbridge rises and lowers. The finished piece is sturdy, but too large for our family to leave assembled. Recommended for fans of 3D puzzles.
CONS:
- Was very disappointed that 70% was not actual 3D puzzle but just plastic and cardboard parts. Other puzzles bu the company are much better, took my daughter 35mins to complete, so was not the greatest puzzle investment to make.
- Being a puzzle fan, this 3D puzzle was something my husband had been wanting for some time, so our son chose this for his Christmas present this year. Perhaps we didn’t pay close enough attention to the description on the box, or research it enough; but on sight alone we expected this 3D puzzle experience to be much better. Only the center towers are the parts that are actually built, plus the pieces are all numbered. It looks super cool when it’s done, but for a challenge, I would stay away form this type of thing.
- That might be down to my daughter and her skill at putting these things together, but she’s forever putting one side up and then a slight movement makes the other side come apart. Actually, she’s given up for the time being… probably to calm down. She may try again, but in the meantime I have a Tower Bridge in several bits in my back room, which is annoying.
