Sony MDR-ZX550BN Bluetooth and Noise Cancelling Overhead Headphones
The Sony MDR-ZX550BN Bluetooth and Noise Cancelling Overhead Headphones implements support for SBC and AAC wireless audio streaming codecs with an electronic noise reduction circuit for up to 10 dB less ambient noise. The headset features 30mm drivers, an omnidirectional electret condenser microphone for calls, and the wireless antenna can transmit a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz approximately 30′ by using the A2DP Bluetooth profile (sampling frequency 44.1 kHz).
Connection to your mobile device is made even easier through the inclusion of one-touch near field communication (NFC) pairing with NFC-capable devices. Calls can be answered and terminated with a simple push of a button on the headset. When a call is over, any music or media that was playing will automatically resume.
For 2.4 GHz Bluetooth v3.0 operation, the built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery can provide up to 29 hours of music playback or communication with noise cancellation off, and up to 150 hours of standby time with noise cancellation off on a 4.5 hour charge.
